    Documentation:
  • Tendering N.O.R.
  • Issuing S.O.F.
  • On/Off hire notices
  • B/L Signature authority
  • Delivery/Redelivery Certificates
  • Maintain Cargo *
  • Issue bills of lading in accordance with Mates Receipt and receiving reports.
  • Invoice and collect ocean freight charges
  • Prepare cargo manifest
  • Distribute cargo related documents to destination port agents as designated by carrier
  • Present final disbursement account within 30 days of sailing

    Renumeration:
  • Flat Agency Fee per vessel call all inclusive of overtime/auto hire, etc. negotiable on    request.
  • Communications and postage/courier service on an out of pocket basis.
  • Excess of 20 bill of lading issued invoiced at $20.00 per bill of lading.
  • Additional Owners Items, examples listed below, will be billed depending on attendance    required:

       A) Crew Changes exceeding four arrivals or departures
       B) Arrest by U.S.C.G. or any government agency
       C) Arrange clean up of oil spills
       D) Cash deliveries exceeding $10,000.00

    Scope:
    GenMar will attend vessels at Texas ports of Houston, Galveston, Texas City, Freeport, Beaumont, Port Arthur and Lake Charles, Louisiana.

    We will request funds by way of proforma disbursement account prior to each vessels arrival. The proforma account will be updated 7 days after vessel sails which will narrow down expenses more accurately.

    If required, we will request additional funds to settle all accounts, in accordance with our 30 day requirement for presenting the final disbursement account.

    * Maintain Cargo consists of tracing original cargoes from booking notes to tracing delivery of said cargoes to nominated loading terminal.
